American Betrayal

FINALLY -- IN AUDIOBOOK!

ALSO AVAILABLE IN PAPERBACK

"It is not simply a good book about history. It is one of those books which makes history. ... "

-- Vladimir Bukovsky, co-founder of the Soviet dissident movement and author of Judgment in Moscow, and Pavel Stroilov, author of Behind the Desert Storm.

"Diana West is distinguished from almost all political commentators because she seeks less to defend ideas and proposals than to investigate and understand what happens and what has happened. This gives her modest and unpretentious books and articles the status of true scientific inquiry, shifting the debate from the field of liking and disliking to being and non-being."

-- Olavo de Carvalho

If you're looking for something to read, this is the most dazzling, mind-warping book I have read in a long time. It has been criticized by the folks at Front Page, but they don't quite get what Ms. West has set out to do and accomplished. I have a whole library of books on communism, but -- "Witness" excepted -- this may be the best.

-- Jack Cashill, author of Deconstructing Obama: The Lives, Loves and Letters of America's First Postmodern President and First Strike: TWA Flight 800 and the Attack on America

"Every once in a while, something happens that turns a whole structure of preconceived ideas upside down, shattering tales and narratives long taken for granted, destroying prejudice, clearing space for new understanding to grow. Diana West's latest book, American Betrayal, is such an event."

-- Henrik Raeder Clausen, Europe News

West's lesson to Americans: Reality can't be redacted, buried, fabricated, falsified, or omitted. Her book is eloquent proof of it.

-- Edward Cline, Family Security Matters

"I have read it, and agree wholeheartedly."

-- Angelo Codevilla, Professor Emeritus of International Relations at Boston Unversity, and fellow of the Claremont Institute.

Enlightening. I give American Betrayal five stars only because it is not possible to give it six.

-- John Dietrich, formerly of the Defense Intelligence Agency and author of The Morgenthau Plan: Soviet Influence on American Postwar Policy.

After reading American Betrayal and much of the vituperation generated by neoconservative "consensus" historians, I conclude that we cannot ignore what West has demonstrated through evidence and cogent argument.

-- John Dale Dunn, M.D., J.D., Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons

"A brilliantly researched and argued book."

-- Edward Jay Epstein, author of Deception: The Invisible War between the KGB and the CIA, The Annals 0f Unsolved Crime

"This explosive book is a long-needed answer to court histories that continue to obscure key facts about our backstage war with Moscow. Must-reading for serious students of security issues and Cold War deceptions, both foreign and domestic."

-- M. Stanton Evans, author of Stalin's Secret Agents and Blacklisted by History: The Untold Story of Senator Joe McCarthy and His Fight Against America's Enemies

Her task is ambitious; her sweep of crucial but too-little-known facts of history is impressive; and her arguments are eloquent and witty. ... American Betrayal is one of those books that will change the way many of us see the world.

-- Susan Freis Falknor, Blue Ridge Forum

"American Betrayal is absolutely required reading. Essential. You're sleepwalking without it."

-- Chris Farrell, director of investigations research, Judicial Watch

"Diana West wrote a brilliant book called American Betrayal, which I recommend to everybody ... It is a seminal work that will grow in importance."

-- Newt Gingrich, former House Speaker

"This is a must read for any serious student of history and anyone working to understand the Marxist counter-state in America."

-- John Guandolo, president, Understanding the Threat, former FBI special agent

It is myth, or a series of myths, concerning WW2 that Diana West is aiming to replace with history in 2013’s American Betrayal.

If West’s startling revisionism is anywhere near the historical truth, the book is what Nietzsche wished his writings to be, dynamite.

-- Mark Gullick, British Intelligence

“What Diana West has done is to dynamite her way through several miles of bedrock. On the other side of the tunnel there is a vista of a new past. Of course folks are baffled. Few people have the capacity to take this in. Her book is among the most well documented I have ever read. It is written in an unusual style viewed from the perspective of the historian—but it probably couldn’t have been done any other way.”

-- Lars Hedegaard, historian, journalist, founder, Danish Free Press Society

The polemics against your Betrayal have a familiar smell: The masters of the guild get angry when someone less worthy than they are ventures into the orchard in which only they are privileged to harvest. The harvest the outsider brought in, they ritually burn.

-- Hans Jansen, former professor of Islamic Thought, University of Utrecht

No book has ever frightened me as much as American Betrayal. ... [West] patiently builds a story outlining a network of subversion so bizarrely immense that to write it down will seem too fantastic to anyone without the book’s detailed breadth and depth. It all adds up to a story so disturbing that it has changed my attitude to almost everything I think about how the world actually is. ... By the time you put the book down, you have a very different view of America’s war aims and strategies. The core question is, did the USA follow a strategy that served its own best interests, or Stalin’s? And it’s not that it was Stalin’s that is so compelling, since you knew that had to be the answer, but the evidence in detail that West provides that makes this a book you cannot ignore.

-- Steven Kates, RMIT (Australia) Associate Professor of Economics, Quadrant

"Diana West's new book rewrites WWII and Cold War history not by disclosing secrets, but by illuminating facts that have been hidden in plain sight for decades. Furthermore, she integrates intelligence and political history in ways never done before."

-- Jeffrey Norwitz, former professor of counterterrorism, Naval War College

[American Betrayal is] the most important anti-Communist book of our time ... a book that can open people's eyes to the historical roots of our present malaise ... full of insights, factual corroboration, and psychological nuance.

-- J.R. Nyquist, author, Origins of the Fourth World War

Although I know [Christopher] Andrew well, and have met [Oleg] Gordievsky twice, I now doubt their characterization of Hopkins -- also embraced by Radosh and the scholarly community. I now support West's conclusions after rereading KGB: The Inside Story account 23 years later [relevant passages cited in American Betrayal]. It does not ring true that Hopkins was an innocent dupe dedicated solely to defeating the Nazis. Hopkins comes over in history as crafty, secretive and no one's fool, hardly the personality traits of a naïve fellow traveler. And his fingerprints are on the large majority of pro-Soviet policies implemented by the Roosevelt administration. West deserves respect for cutting through the dross that obscures the evidence about Hopkins, and for screaming from the rooftops that the U.S. was the victim of a successful Soviet intelligence operation.

-- Bernie Reeves, founder of The Raleigh Spy Conference, American Thinker

Diana West’s American Betrayal — a remarkable, novel-like work of sorely needed historical re-analysis — is punctuated by the Cassandra-like quality of “multi-temporal” awareness. ... But West, although passionate and direct, is able to convey her profoundly disturbing, multi-temporal narrative with cool brilliance, conjoining meticulous research, innovative assessment, evocative prose, and wit.

-- Andrew G. Bostom, PJ Media

Do not be dissuaded by the controversy that has erupted around this book which, if you insist on complete accuracy, would be characterized as a disinformation campaign.

-- Jed Babbin, The American Spectator

In American Betrayal, Ms. West's well-established reputation for attacking "sacred cows" remains intact. The resulting beneficiaries are the readers, especially those who can deal with the truth.

Find your own higher institution in forced vaccination here.

--

Dear President Salovey,

I am writing to protest Yale’s forced vaccination policy. It is a totalitarian abomination and it puts lives at risk, needlessly.

Any sentient being knows that the risk from what is called covid to young people is practically nil to none. Therefore, forcing Yale students to become lab rats in a global medical experiment for no good reason defies reason. It defies common sense as well.

Further, there is a dark moral dimension to forced vaccination. It goes against all of our rights as free people....

Somehow, the good guys never win. Why is that? Not even circa 1940, when the FBI was anti-communist and Congress was passing laws to fire communists from federal jobs, could the good guys get ahead and stay there. Why not? Now, eighty years later, there are only a tiny handful of GOP officials who ever stand up for anything, the FBI is filled with Chekists, and disinformation is the Official Language of the land.

A conundrum, discussed here

I rubbed my eyes and had to reread this, but yes, it does say: "Feihe, China's largest infant formula maker, said sales would drop sharply in the next one to two years since many women cannot bear children within six months of coronavirus vaccination -- and thus delaying births.

I even found the link at the New Zealand Heard. The article is behind a paywall but republished here.

We are really in for it.

UPDATE:

No worries, it's all good.

The New York Times, as of May 21,...

Maybe this will wake people up. They don't seem to want to protect themselves or their children, but maybe the risk to their precious "travel" (for which they have lined up on droves to be injected with the experimental covid vaccine) will ring a danger bell. The government and media have yet to brainwash us into believing that falling out of the sky is a good way to die, so there is some hope this latest monstrous risk associated with covid injections with will penetrate the hypnotized postmodern mind.

Yesterday, rumors went around and around that two, three, no, four British Airways pilots died suddenly due to covid injection "side effects" -- I put "side effects" in quotation marks because such injuries, now many thousands of fatalities, have become the most notable primary effects of this grotesque genetic experiment which has magically rendered thinking, sentient,...

Here's Rep. Gaetz's letter to Swamp Rat Wray:

Love Matt Gaetz -- great letter great cause. But who would bet the farm or even a bacon cheeseburger that either his letter or his cause will be answered or fulfilled?

The Revolver News story behind the letter is here.

Continuing the theme of "the screamers," discussed  here and here, I will quote Arthur Koestler's description of one: an unnamed publisher of note who lectured audiences across the country during WWII about the atrocities underway inside the Third Reich.

Koestler wrote:

Before each meeting he used to lock himself up in a room, to close his eyes and to imagine, in detail, for twenty minutes, that he was one of the people in Poland who were killed. One day he tried to feel what it was like to be suffocated by chloride gas in a death-train; another day he had...

In January of 1944, Arthur Koestler wrote an essay in the New York Times to decry the disbelief, the "uniform mass disease" of "split thinking," which he believed was preventing Americans from grasping the reality of onoing Nazi atrocities -- "the greatest mass killing in history," he called it, estimating that three million Jews to date had been slaughtered.

The mental block he describes may surprise readers of subsequent generations who grew up keenly aware of Nazi atrocities -- at least until the present moment as Nazis have become synonymously blurred with Confederate generals, Trump supporters and birders.

The "dumb wonder," the "faint glassy eye," and the "dream barriers" Koestler saw as obstacles to understanding all around him, however, will be familiar, and especially to those among us Koestler identifies as "We, the screamers."

In the category of Ultimate Insult to Injury, there is something so unexpectedly awful about the prospect of being done in by the giddy, the fey and the fruity. I refer, of course, to the Gumball 7, the sicky-sweet, color-coordinated, herky-jerky-jocular Figureheads of the Western World.

Having driven their respective nations into ashes and tears, their evident glee is mockery of us all.

It is almost as if they think they have gotten away with it.

Reiner Fuellmich has conducted an extremely important interview of Dr. Peter McCullough. While I am still watching the full interview here, I thought this clip (below) was worth posting immediately in hopes that the message will get to someone or someone's loved one in time to convince them to avoid the shot, the second shot, or the booster.

Dr. McCullough:

We think we have 50,000 dead Americans. Fifty thousand deaths. So we actually have more deaths due to the vaccine per day than certainly the viral illness by far.

It's basically propagandized bioterrorism by injection."

Propagandized bioterrorism by injection!

This is a huge statement from a super-credentialed medical authority

I have posted a new conversation-starter at my Patreon channel, "Sins of Omission." It is behind a paywall that is accessible for as little or as much as you would like to pay.

It starts with what happened when I was invited to go on a radio show where the parameters of discussion are set by Facebook, and what happens when we don't/won't accept that, yes, our own governments do evil.

All of it relates to what we are not told or refuse to tell ourselves: sins of omission and, by the way, American betrayal.

I'm afraid we die if we don't fill in the blanks.

I utterly dread the news of each new day.

First, there is the relentless, escalating static of the propaganda outlets that deny us information about the flexing, "shedding" and constricting serpent encircling us with The Noose; then there is the slithering progress of the serpent itself, darkly, heavily camouflaged by media, big tech and government censors and propagandists.

The latter include:

1) FEMA bribing mourning families to get that Covid cause of death, to date distributing $128 million dollars to cover funeral costs of people who "died of" "Covid." Meanwhile, the bribery to submit to the experimental vaccine includes guns, beer, trucks...

Rosa Koire has died. This is a tremendous loss to our world of blinders and ignorance because hers was a rare mind and spirit that could see and explain the biggest and darkest of pictures and  persevere, her sweet nature intact.

I got to know Rosa too little and too late. We exchanged books, my Red Thread for her simply must-read Green Mask. We admired each other's work and even talked pie in the sky about meeting one day in a garden. Early last month, she told me she was very ill.

But still she tweeted her all-seeing SOS signals to anyone lucky enough to have tuned in to her.

If American Betrayal is one long assault on "the conventional wisdom" -- i.e., the fake history we are reared on and shaped by -- then, of course, it had to hit the beaches of Normandy, too. And so it did.

As I researched and wrote the book between 2009 and 2012, I couldn't help noticing  at a certain point of understanding (read: disillusionment) that the cross channel re-invasion of Europe (preceded, we "forget," by the invasion of Italy which even included the "forgotten" capture of Rome on June 5, 1944) was strategically essential to the expansion and consolidation of the Soviet empire in Europe; further, that this unnecessary (for many cogent reasons explained in the book by...

My latest radio conversation with the Audrey Russo is here.

It felt good to get this story onto the airwaves.

Reiner Füllmich and Brian Gerrish tease out ideas below that resonate with some of my own  (discussed here): namely, that chomping down on and spitting out Fauci and the Wuhan Lab Virus becomes a deflection from the real architects of our destruction via lockdown and vaccination, and a way of re-invigorating the old "pandemic" bogeyman.

Reiner Füllmich: Brian, at the beginning of today’s session, Dr Wolfgang Wodarg and I discussed the fact that a new narrative has been put out into the mainstream media, probably starting out in the United States with Fox News, and they have a host by the name of Tucker Carlson, who explained...

New, at my Patreon channel!I finally figured out what has been bothering me about the "news" that the Wuhan virus came from the Wuhan lab; why Fauci's fall is deflection; and what is wrong with President Trump. Also, doesn't anyone remember anything about Steve Bannon?

The Daily Mail is now reporting on death by lethal injection:

Healthy' mother-of-three, 43, dies from blood clots days after having her AstraZeneca Covid jab - after it emerged BBC presenter had 'severe' headaches and died following vaccine

Another human being dead at the hands of the state and media war on the human mind to coerce healthy individuals to submit unnecessarily to a monstrous mass experiment in genetic manipulation: the worldwide Covid "vaccine." Her name was Tanya Smith and she leaves three children behind her.

Smith died two months ago. Why MSM attention now?

The reason is this: Inspired by the family in the case of the deceased BBC presenter,...

The Sun, The Guardian, The Scotsman, Newsweek -- even the BBC -- all link the blood clots that killed 44-year-old Lisa Shaw of the BBC to the experimental mRNA injection she took a fews days before she died.

That is largely because Shaw's family is speaking out.

Too often, that is not the case. Indeed, Shaw's family, like Cherie Romney, the grieving mother and wife of a severely vaccine-injured son and husband, is the exception, not the rule. (Please listen to her interview with Robert Kennedy Jr. here.) The treatment of the death of Joel Kallman, a software developer who designed the CDC vaccine tracking system and died two months after receiving his first Covid shot, is more typical. It is also completely transparent.
